About

There’s no music on a dead planet. Without action we can say goodbye to the songs and music we live for.

SAVE OUR SONGS
Like plants and animals, music is at risk of extinction if we fail to act and meet the current climate emergency. To highlight the urgency, musicians are declaring songs to be endangered or extinct until we take action as a community. There’s lots to fight for. If we get active this election and vote for the planet we can all save the songs we love.

MUSICIANS AND FANS COME TOGETHER
No Music On A Dead Planet is a campaign by Green Music Australia and Music Declares Emergency in the UK to demand climate action by our governments. As a community of musicians and fans we have millions of deep connections every week. If we raise our voice on climate action together, we will be heard. This federal election Green Music Australia will be asking parliament to listen to the science, to act immediately and to create a shared future for all of us with music at the heart.

TAKE THE PLEDGE
If 1000 people take the pledge across April and May we can save the songs that are endangered now and make a case to federal parliament for strong action right away. A pledge makes you a supporter of Green Music Australia and a voice for climate action today. You can also volunteer and help Green Music Australia with events and actions throughout the year.
