In March 2023 we’ll be learning the basics of embroidery and making from ‘deadstock’ or fabrics from the textile industry that would otherwise go to landfill. These are skills of protest, but can also be used to mend your clothes! We’ll make designs that show images of what in the world is worth fighting for (family or friends, the bush, plants or animals) with the words “no more coal, oil or gas”. We’ll send the finished works to politicians who need a reminder of what matters.
