About

CAMPAIGN: GUIDELINES NOT PERMITS FOR NATURE STRIPS Council’s old and restrictive permit based system was a real roadblock to people planting up their nature strips with more natural and biodiverse alternatives to lifeless lawn. Following our Strips of Nature project, we successfully advocated for Council to adopt a more relaxed guideline based approach to nature strip planting. This was a big step forward in 2023 and will hopefully encourage more residents to get out and get planting!
