About

Australia needs to raise its climate ambition.
The clock is ticking – COP26 starts on October 31 in Glasgow and we are still stuck with Tony Abbott’s inadequate 26-28% targets.
Can we match Boris and Biden’s 50-63%? We are excited to be working with our allies ActOnClimate in a Climate Targets survey campaign. This has included calls, letterboxing and lobbying our State and Federal politicians. Thanks for stepping up!

Step 1 – Take the Climate Survey: 30,000 flyers with a QR link have been printed and nearly all distributed in Kooyong, Higgins and Chisholm.
Let’s tell our politicians what we think our climate targets should be. Take this short survey now!
Step 2 – Flood Morrison’s inbox: The window is closing, so let’s join together one final time! Create a short, sharp and powerful email on the state of our climate targets and flood the PM’s inbox now!
Step 3 – Jot down your main concerns: Want to step up? We suggest making a simple list of a few points about how Australia should move on climate and why it matters to you.
Choose from some simple suggestions in our new blog, or write down your own.
Step 4 – Contact your MP!: As a constituent you have a uniquely powerful voice. Calls and letters to your State and Federal MPs have to be noted and responded to.
Read through your list, check our blog again if you need to, and call or write to your MP now, (and if you are on a roll, add some more!)

– Flood Morrison’s inbox!
– Scott Morrison is going to Glasgow. But what will he bring?
– Email Morrison now and tell him that you want science based targets for 2030, to reduce climate impacts and give our kids a better chance!
