Outcome Evidence: The Grata Fund supports a number of diferent Climate Justice cases. In 2020 they supported mum and data shareholders to force the Commonwealth Bank to disclose climate risk in its annual report. They also supported two Traditional Owners, Garawa elder Jack Green and Gudanji woman and native title rightsholder Josie Davey Green as they launched a judical review of the NT government’s decision to reduce the amount of money Glencore needs to put aside to clean up the site, this was ultimately unsuccessful. They are currently supporting First Nations leaders from remote islands in Guda Maluyligal in the Torres Strait who are taking the Australian Government to court for failing to protect them from climate change.
